"Winning Strategies for K-8 Classrooms!"
Get ready to kick off a summer of engaging economics and financial literacy learning!
Join the MCEE for a three-day virtual professional development experience designed specifically for K-8 educators. Inspired by the global excitement of the World Cup coming to North America, this interactive institute will explore how educators can help students develop strong economic reasoning and foundational financial skills.
Discover engaging ways to teach economic decision-making and financial literacy
Explore the Economics Is Everywhere (EIE) curriculum and how it integrates literacy, economics, and ethnic studies
Learn classroom-ready activities that connect economics to real-world topics students care about
Collaborate with other Minnesota educators to design lessons that bring economics and personal finance to life
Training Camp: Building foundations in economics and personal finance
Group Stage: Exploring global economics and real-world applications
Championship Round: Applying economic and financial skills early and often
Participants will leave with ready-to-use lessons, practical classroom activities, and new connections with educators across Minnesota.
Teachers who attend all sessions will receive CEUs and a stipend.

Minnesota Registration Fee: $50 (reimbursement of the $50 registration fee for K-8 MN licensed teachers and MN pre-service teachers who attend the entire event)
Non-Minnesota Registration Fee: $75
$120 stipend (K-8 MN licensed teachers)
Participants who attend all of the entire sessions will be awarded 9 Continuing Education Units (CEU) credits.

This course is open to pre-service, licensed teachers, & others. No fall classroom placement is required.
This course will only be offered if at least 10 teachers register.
