Pre-Service
Pre-service students are welcome to participate in the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) workshops and conferences and are often able to attend for free!
It's probably not surprising, but most teachers in Minnesota don't have an undergraduate degree in economics or finance. They may not know what a supply curve looks like before they have to teach students about economics or personal finance in the classroom.
That's where we come in.
For as long as we've been around, we've worked with colleges and universities in Minnesota to prepare the next generation of economics and personal finance teachers with workshops designed to meet each program's unique needs. We're meeting pre-service teachers where they are, offering workshops and seminars on topics chosen by the program faculty ranging from pedagogy-focused sessions to lunchtime talks on the economics of current events.
There's a world of economic ideas out there, and we're helping your students explore it.
